1. Who you're contracting with
The UNRANKED app at riseunranked.app is provided by Unranked ("Unranked", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the app. By creating an account or using UNRANKED, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
2. Eligibility
UNRANKED is intended for basketball athletes aged 13 and older. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf and authorizes any paid subscription.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us immediately at support@riseunranked.app of any unauthorized use.
4. The service
UNRANKED is a basketball training and development app that provides a personalized training plan, a film study curriculum, an AI Coach (Rex), progress logging, and a highlight tape builder. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
5. Data collection and use
UNRANKED collects information you provide during onboarding, your workout/film/highlight activity, and basic usage analytics, and uses it to personalize the service. We do not sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. User-generated content
You retain ownership of content you upload (highlight clips, notes, reflections). By uploading, you grant Unranked a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and display that content within your account and any shareable surfaces you opt into (for example, a public tape link). You are solely responsible for the content you upload and must not upload anything that infringes others' rights or violates the law.
7. Subscriptions, billing, and payment processing
UNRANKED offers a free tier and two paid subscriptions: Pro at $7.99 / month and Elite at $20 / month. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes; applicable sales tax or VAT is added at checkout based on your billing address. New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial; you will not be charged during the trial and can cancel anytime.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects your card and billing information directly at checkout — Unranked never sees or stores your full card number. You can manage your payment method, view billing history, and cancel from Settings → Manage Subscription, which opens Stripe's billing portal.
Paid subscriptions auto-renew at the published price each month until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and you keep premium access until then. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
8. Cancellation and account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, training history, notes, and uploaded clips per our Privacy Policy. Canceling a paid subscription does not automatically delete your account; deleting your account does not on its own trigger a refund — see the Refund Policy.
9. AI Coach disclaimer
The UNRANKED AI Coach ("Rex") provides general training guidance and is not a substitute for medical, physical-therapy, or strength-and-conditioning advice from a licensed professional. You are responsible for your prompts and how you use Rex's outputs, including verifying accuracy before acting on them. Consult a qualified provider before beginning any new training program, especially if you have pre-existing conditions or injuries.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to access another user's account or data;
- reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the security of the service;
- upload malicious code, infringing material, or content depicting minors in unsafe contexts;
- use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others;
- use UNRANKED in violation of applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations.
11. Intellectual property
Unranked retains all rights, title, and interest in the UNRANKED app, brand, drills, plans, and AI Coach outputs (other than user content you upload). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan for your personal training. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the service.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
UNRANKED is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To that same extent, Unranked's aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid Unranked in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we'll notify you in-app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Unranked is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you stronger rights.
